After 12 years as part of the Sperian Protection Group, Optrel of Switzerland have returned to independent ownership. This decision was made prior to the subsequent acquisition of Sperian Protection by Honeywell and sees Weldspares further cement our long term relationship with the Optrel brand. From now on, neither Sperian nor Optrel are accepting orders for Optrel products, but rest assured we continue to hold significant stocks of both complete helmets and spare parts at our distribution centre in Warrington.

This change in ownership will see the products carrying the Optrel name once again with further changes being made to improve product labelling and marketing materials. Optrel will continue to develop a collection of innovative solutions and intend to remain THE product of choice for welding protection.
